Hi,

I have just installed Win2003 server, and setup Remote Access. I did setup
static IP under the IP tab of the server properties. Everything else is as
default.

When the user tries to connect to the server, it goes fine, but when he
tries to browse the network, it takes alot of time. I thought that maybe its
his network, but when the same happens when i try to log on to the server
from my test network within the same building!

I did ipconfig/all on the laptop after making the connection, and it shows
the subnet of 255.255.255.254, and everything else seems to be fine.

Any clues as to what I might be missing?

Thanks!

Tj
