I have a problem using a vpn connection because my network is a 192.168.1.1
/24 network and so is the server I am trying to vpn to. So although I get
to the network I cant do anything because my computer keeps searching my
network and not the network I am VPN'd into.

Any Ideas?

I am guessing from your discription that your network
(192.168.1.1) is a home network connected to the internet
through a Linksys gateway or something like that. If you
are sure that the problem is because both networks are
192.168.1.0 /24 then just change your local lan interface
on the linksys to 192.168.2.1 /24. If it is assigning
dhcp addresses to your computer then you may need to
change the dhcp scope a little. If your local IP is
static then just change it to 192.168.2.1-254 /24 and you
should be OK. I hope this helps. ---Jarrod
