I have set up a VPN from my computer at work to my home
computer. I get the connection and the little icon at
the bottom right says that I am "connected". But I can't
find how I access any of the files on my home computer
that I am connected to. It doesn't show up under "My
Computer". My home computer has certain directories
marked to "share" with network users.

What am I missing? It's got to be something simple.
Thanks!

If you don't have a WINS server at home, use the UNC and sharename...

Universal Naming Convention (UNC)
A convention for naming files and other resources beginning with two backslashes (\), indicating
that the resource exists on a network computer. UNC names conform to the \\SERVERNAME\SHARENAME
syntax, where SERVERNAME is the server's name and SHARENAME is the name of the shared resource. The
UNC name of a directory or file can also include the directory path after the share name, with the
following syntax: \\SERVERNAME\SHARENAME\DIRECTORY\FILENAME.
