Hi,

I have setup a VPN server on Windows 2003 with SP1, the service is ok.
when i connect through dial-up networking, i get a VPN connection,
everything is ok, i can see all pcs, databases, etc,etc,..... perfect.
When i connect trought wireless, i get a 721 error.

I'm really confused.

Any help.

Thanks in advance.

to add.......

i called the wireless isp, they are are not blocking anything from
their side, if internet is working, then their part of job is ok. i can
use internet normally on the wireless but when it comes to vpn, 721.....

Normally, VPN Error 721 is GRE or port 1723 issue. Do you have a router between VPN server and client/ Can you telnet port 1723?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I can VPN through dial-up internet from any remote location.
This problem occurs only when I VPN through Wireless Internet
Connection.

Best Regards

OK. can you ping the VPN when using wireless? if yes, can you telnet port 1723?

I am having the same issue. I cannot ping, (but I think that is due to my
ISP) but I can TELNET.
