VPN connection

Hi,

In a school, I have a Windows2000 server and network, connected to the
internet by proxy 2.0 and router with fixed IP over ADSL.

From a remote location, I want to connect to the network. Can it be done
over VPN? What do I need to do it? Open which ports on the router? The
client PC is Windows2000 or XP. Must it be domainmember too?

VPN is the way to go - your PC doesn't need to belong to the domain. Do a
search for VPN in help on the server, or search the MS website for
instructions.
