VPN connection setup - Trouble

I am trying to setup a VPN connection between my office,
and my home. My office PC is Win2k, and my home is XP
Pro. When I try to make a VPN connection on my Win2k
machine, it will only try to dial-up a connection. I am
connected to DSL in my office, behind a firewall. I
don't even have a modem in my office PC. When I go to
connect, it just times out, and tells me it couldn't find
a dialing tone, etc. I am sure that in the internet
connection wizard, I am picking the VPN connection.

Any help appreciated.

Hi

Check out the article
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/howto/gomobile/vpns.asp which
explains step by step procedure to setup VPN connection from a XP machine to
a VPN server. Cross check whether you came across the same dialogs when you
were configuring and you provided same kind of data.

For the host IP address you might be required to give your win2k public IP
address. To make a VPN connection, you must be already connected to the
Internet
