Hi All and thanks in advance.
Server:
Win2000 Server running TS
SP 4 installed
Client PCs
Windows XP Pro
SPs all up to date
Connect to VPN Via MS "Connect to.."
TS Connect using "Remote Descktop Connection"
I have a confusing prob where if one person disconnects from their VPN
session, everyone else is disconnected and no one can reconnect for 15 - 20
mins.
This has been going on for quite some time now and service packs don't seem
to have any part in this prob. This connection prob was also happening
before TS was installed. So I pretty sure its to do with the actual VPN
connection.
Problem:
Clients are all XP Pro, connect via VPN connection in XP, then they use RDC
for connection to Windows 2000 Terminal Server.
There are no error in the Server logs either.
I can, however, log on and off and not cause this error. Their settings are
all standard settings and everything is the same. The only diff is that the
problem PCs are located in a diff state and they are using Serviced Offices
with their inhouse Internet connections. But I don't think that is the
problem.
Has anyone else had this happen to them? And why is it doing this?
Cheers
Steph.
