Hi folks. I've got an issue I could use some help with. One of our
admins accidentally deleted a bunch of active computer accounts. We've
been adding computers back into the domain with no problems - however
we have remote users who only connect through a VPN. I worked with one
of them for hours yesterday trying to get the PC back on the domain. I
got it to the point where it re-added itself to AD but the connection
is so slow that his PC timed out before it got the acknowledgement
back.
So what I need to know is this: Is there something on the PC side that
I can do to make it connect to its existing account on the domain,
besides removing it and re-adding it? Or is there anything else I can
do to make this work? I've got a couple other VPN people I need to
fix, but I don't want to keep trying if it's not going to work!
TIA for any help,
Karen
