VPN Certificate Error

I keep getting the error "The encryption attempt failed
because no valid certificate was found" (Error 781). I'm
connecting via VPN from a Windows 2000 workstation to a
2003 Server.

I noticed that I have a yellow icon on the WAN Miniport
device on a Windows 2000 laptop.

Does anyone know what this error is? Our VPN is working
from another Windows 2000 workstation. All service packs &
updates are in place.

Most likely a valid certificate is NOT present on your CLIENT machine.

To install a certificate for use with IPSec, you may refer KB article 253498

If this connection requires Pre-Shared Key, contact your Network
Administrator and/ or refer to KB article: 240262
