Hi
If any of you can help me with this I really do owe you one!

I have 3 networks (locations) that I want to connect using VPN. I do
get connected, but I can only access the files on the firewall (pc)
and not the computers in the network! (The port for both VPN
connections has been opened for all connections!) I suspect the
IP/subnet adressing to be the reason, but I can´t figure out how tol
solve it!!!

Here are the facts:

OS: Win XP
Protocol: TCP/IP
Subenet (all networks): 255.255.255.0
Ip adresses (no duplicates): 90.0.0.xx

It looks like my VPN connection automaticly gets a subnet address of
255.255.255.255 -but how can I change that? Is it because my subnet
and IP adresses do not match?

Please give me a hand!

Best regards

Brian

Could it be because the VPN Server runs on the pc that also acts as a
router/firewall? It has 2 NICs and it might be that the requests are
send to the nic that connects to the internet. Unfortunately I would
not know how to route the request to the correct NIC (neetwork).

Anyone know?

VPN between 2 XP networks should be so easy!!!! If you can either give
the golden advice or will work with me to get it to work I am ready to
pay you for your help!

I can connect to the VPN server (that also serves as router/firewall)
and see the files on that pc, but whatever I do, I can not connect to
any of the pc´s behind the VPN server/firewall not with IP adresses
nor with their names! And of course the port 1723 has been opened!

The facts:
OS on the Router and VPN server is XP Pro. Computers in the connected
network are NT and w98.
The client network are all XP Pro
Both networks use adsl connection, the host via a NIC and the client
via adsl modem!
The IP scope has been sorted! There are no ip conflicts! Both networks
has there own range! I use 90.0.0.xx for the servers network and
90.0.0.y for the connecting nework.

If you have the golden tip or would be willing to help me I will pay
you for your effort!

It shouldn't....

Take a look at your routing configuration (route print from a command
prompt)... If you type in the "route" command at a command prompt, it
will give you instructions towards the end about how to set it up.
Otherwise, post network details for the vpn (slightly change, if
necessary, to protect your identity - we don't need to know your
public address).
