Hi

I am unable to authenticate to the vpn server(win2003sbs) using ms-chap 1 or 2, i can connect to it using the other unsecure protocols
If i use ms-chap 1 or 2 the vpn server keeps saying that the logon attempt failed because of an unknown user name or bad password

I havent made a setting on the router for Ip 47 since i can only use tcp or udp on the napt page

The vpn server was working fine before i deployed the server, i think i changed the encryption on the vpn server to strongest only once but i changed it back to basic strong and strongest. Perhaps that has anything to do wtih it

Check the event logs on the server and see what the reason could be.
Just the authentication type and the encryptiong types the client and the
server negotiate. They should converge on both of these to establish a
connection successfully.
