Carlos

Is it possible to make a vpn connection and then use the
proxy file pac (proxy.pac) into the internet browser
configuration to choose a proxy server in the
vpn clients.?

Kind regards.
Carlos Lopez.

You can use CMAK generated custom profiles to set the proxy settings after
the connection is made.

Connection Manager runs the custom profile with a custom action which sets
the proxy settings.

This requires a txt file to be given which contains the information
regarding 'how' the proxy settings will be changed.

Detailed information on CMAK is available online at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tr...ver2003/proddocs/standard/sag_CMAKtopnode.asp

Hope this helps,

Thanks,

Dinesh.

On Windows Server 2003 you can install CMAK from Windows Optional
Components.

From Control Panel, select Add/Remove Program. Click on Add/Remove Windows
Components. In Management and Monitoring Tools, you will find CMAK.

On Windows XP you can install CMAK from Windows Server 2003 Admin Pack.

Hope this helps,

Thanks,

Dinesh.
