VPN and network connection

We have Win 2K Server, Cisco 1721 Router and DSL
connection in.

I have a client PC on XP, using a 2mb DSL connection and
using normal VPN through the XP Wizard.

The VPN connection establishes fine but the network
availability, i.e. connection to the server, keeps
dropping off and the offline files pop up box keeps
appearing. Both the DSL's and the VPN are still
connected - can anyone suggest as to why this might be?

Regards,

A struggling Scot!

Have looked at these and they are all giving changes on
the 2k server, but our user isn't connecting using the
windows logon to this server, they use a separate logon
to the router and then force a connection to the network
through the synchronising of files.

Still stuck I'm afraid!
