When I connect to our network (AD network) via VPN I can ping the ip
address but not the computer name (server1) or it's UNC name
(server1.domain.123).
I also can't ping anything past the VPN server via computer name or UNC
name. I know it's a DNS issue but not sure where to go from here.
The VPN server is configured with 2 nics. The first has internal IP
addresses (192.168.1.x), for lan traffic and the second has external ip
address for the VPN traffic. I have the vpn configured to use the LAN
card for DNS and after the vpn connection is maid and I run ipconfig and
see that the new vpn cnnection is given all the correct info including
the correct DNS address. The DNS server is on a 192.168.6.x
Thanks
