My speakers on my Windows 2000 workstation stop working.
So I have went to the Event Viewer and under System Log I
have Error type messages. The first is:
The Vpctcom service failed to start due to the following
error: Cannot create a file when that file already
exists.
and second Error after the first one comes up is:
The DgiVecp service failed to start due to the following
error: The system cannot find the file specified.
I do not know if those Error messages are related to my
speakers not working but I will like to fix them so they
do not come up. I cannot find anything in the Microsoft
Knowledge Base about those Errors.
What and how should I go about making those Service
failures go away? Any suggestions or possible resolutions?
Thank you.
