volume on my desktop speakers!

had a new weatherboard and power pack put in my computer. since then who who
ever set it up again hasn't set my speaker volume up correctly. The music
when played back on windows media is really quiet even when the bars are
slide to the top. i have noticed that the sub woofer bar and the centre bar
isn't highlighted to be moved. someone please help me.

Well I don't know what a weatherboard is but it sounds like your problem is
incorrect sound card drivers, try updating them.
