looking for free volume licence

Volume license - installing XP at home

I recently got a limited license for 5 installs of XP Pro for my non-profit.
These computers will be used for adult students. I seem to remember reading
somewhere that it was OK to also install one or two "copies" for home. I'd
like to upgrade two instructors home units to XP Pro (now running Win98SE and
Win2000). Is it OK to do this?

To me? No
Towards the fact you paid for 5 licenses and get to use the Operating System
on 5 systems
No
Microsoft Office does have (or did) a license that allowed you to install a
copy on your work machine as well as your laptop... But Windows XP (the
operating system) has no such agreement. You pay for a number or unlimited.
If you got a Volume License (academic, select, whatever) for 5 machines -
then your limit is 5 licensed installations of Windows XP
