Sorry, I know how to type and use the internet, but I dont know how to fix my
computer.

My volume controls are gone including the advance controls, and even the
sound recorder. i can hear my speaker just fine, i just cant get the controls
to show up on my screen. i dont know how i did it. i know theyre deleted from
my computer, and not that the shortcuts were deleted. can someone please help
me figure it out.
i have windows xp.
paint was gone too, but i figured out how to get that in another forum. i
went to add or remove programs, and checked the box next to paint, but theres
nothing on there about volume.
so yeah, can anyone just please help me out.

Put the speaker volume control icon back on the Taskbar:-

To place the volume control icon back next to the clock, follow these steps:
1. Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
2. Click the Sounds Speech and Audio Devices icon. (Or, depending how your
Control Panel is set up, click the Sounds and Audio Devices icon.)
3. Click "Adjust the system volume."
4. Click in the box marked "Place volume icon in the taskbar."
5. Click the OK button, and the little Speaker icon appears next to the
clock, where it should be.

or
