volume control

i cant get sound and there is no volume control on the task bar or under accessories, enterntainment. any ideas?
 
I have mine under entertainment. Look for

sndvol32.exe

You may find it in SYSTEM32 You can use the Windows find feature
(Windows Key/F)

Start>Settings>Control Panel>Sounds & Audio Devices>Volume Tab.

There are options there including putting an icon on the taskbar.
