My volume control sndvo32.exe is damaged or missing from
my harddrive. The fix is to insert my Windows XP cd and
re-install it, but XP came with this computer and no cd.
What do I do?
 
Your install discs may be located in c:\windows\options\cabs
Compaq, HP, and Dell do this.

There is no sndvo32.exe in XP. You probably intended to say sndvol32.exe
which is located at
C:\Windows\System32\sndvol32.exe

Check to see if it is located in the above location. Also if your email
address listed is correct, I have sent you a copy of
the file from my system.
