When I turn on my pc, the volume for the speakers is way too loud. I tried
to adjust the volume through the control panel and/or through the speaker
icon on my taskbar. I can move all the others except the volume control in
the speakers. That one won't slide. Any way of fixing that?

Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying, but have you changed
the physical volume control on the speakers themselves?

Yes, I have tried that but still doesn't work.

That sounds extremely strange. However if the physical volume controls
don't change the volume on the speakers, their not working has nothing
to do with Windows. Something is wrong with the speakers themselves.
