volume control

Could some one please help me to get the volume on my computer I have
not a sound
I had to have the tower replaced and the person made a big mess of
transfering the data it is running windows XP

you might have to reinstall the drivers for sound card.... but before that
you need to check whether you have the drivers installed on your computer or
not.

right click on my computer icon on desktop and goto manage.
device manager and see do you have any question mark or exclamation mark in
front of any device like multimedia controller etc.
