Hello all,
I know this sounds like a trivial problem, but there is an underlying reason
that I'm concerned about.
I have a new Reclusa keyboard (I don't even know why I selected that one...
I'm not even a gamer). But the main
feature I was after was a volume control dial, so I could quickly turn down
the volume and answer the phone. I has to be fast and handy... for my
purposes.
Anyway, the volume controller works great... half the time. For some reason
it quits working, then surprises me by working again, then quits again, and
on and on and on. I recently installed the latest driver and that got the
volume dial working again. Today.... no dice.
Can anybody tell me where or how I can tweak this so the controller works
all the time? And if possible, I'd like to know what is causing it to
switch on and off. I have used a registry cleaner from time to time
(CCleaner looks for registry issues, for example), but I haven't really
noticed the relationship to my problem... because I haven't paid close
enough attention. I admit, it's probably my fault, and after you've slapped
me on the wrist for trying to keep my registry too uncluttered, I'll still
appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance,
Danno
