My volume control Icon will not stay on task bar.I can go
restore computer,but next time I reboot volume on task
will be gone.I scan windows program make sure all files
are there,then vloume will appear on task bar when I
reboot.I shut down computer,then it will disappear.I have
done everything I know with tech support.Volume contol
will not stay on task bar.

Once you have the volume icon placed in the Notification Area, run this
edit:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
