Volume Contol Accessory

Hi,

I am trying to use do some recording here on my laptop. In
the Volume Control Accessory, I selected 'Properties' from
the options menu. In the Properties Window, I selected
the 'Recording' option. But now in the list of volume
controls it does not show me check box for 'Line In'.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem ?

Silly question perhaps, but are you sure your laptop has a line in jack
socket ?

If you do, then when you go into the 'Recording' option, click ok, then
scroll down the list box and make
sure there is a tick in the line-in box. Click ok and you should be ok.
