volume button sildes down by itself

when we move the volume button to max it does not stay in
the max level it comes down to low automatically
 
Sometimes some software programs interfere with the
Windows Volume Controls and readjust them to their own
settings. For example, MusicMatch readjusts both Wave-
Direct and Volume Control. So:

Close all programs that use sound, other than the one that
you are using. Then click on the volume icon in your
systray and open your "volume controls". Maker certain
that all of the faders (sliders) are set at your desired
selection, not muted. Then try playing the sound program
of your choice.

Does it immediately readjust your volume?
