About 6 days ago something went horribly wrong. Right now, whenever I play a video or listen to music, I can't hear the words. The music and the sound effect are still playing(the quality is terrible though) and no matter how loud I put the sound I can only hear a whisper of what they are saying. Also, around the same time this happened... Whenever I open My Computer or any program except msn explorer or windows media player, it takes about a minute for it to start opening, emphasis on start. It doesn't take that long to open, it takes that long to start opening. After the window or program is open, it is like normal. Realy need your help, I don't want to have to reformat my drives and load XP again. Thanks.

What happened when something went horribly wrong? Have you tried a system
restore to a point before this? To help you we need at least SOME technical
information as to what your system specs are, what version of XP you are
using, what patches are installed, and what the error message was!
