Voice out of sync problem

I have a 9800 AIW PRO and have installed the latest drivers from ATI
and MMC 9.18

Problem is that the TV voice is almost a second out of sync. I do not
want to, unless I have to, uninstall as I am aware that ATI files are
left behind and will mess things up further (unless there is a full
proof way to uninstall).

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

While doing TVoD, capture or both? What O/S? Was it running correctly under
a previous version?
When using TVoD try pausing 10-20 seconds.
In Device Manager remove the ATI multimedia drivers and the sound card
driver then reboot and let Windows reinstall them.
Search Customer Care for "sync".

I also have a 9800 AIW and have watched PAL TV using a plug in aerial
for years.

I've just updated to XP catalyst 6.4 - Multimedia Center 9.13
and I get the same TV problem ie voice is lagging by 1 or more seconds.
Tried re-install still the same problem. Device Manager shows no
problems. Any ideas?
