VOD in 9.14

I have AIW9000
All works ok, but I can't switch off VOD. I tried this well-known
registry key, but MMC makes critical error after this change, and after
restart value of this key revert to default.
I can set rights not to allow change value of this key, but still MMC
makes critical error :(
My installation is fresh, I use 6.3 drivers.

Try to use Catalyst 6.11 Drivers and ATI MMC 9.14. Do a repair on the MMC
9.14 suite. Then change the livemode to "1" in regedit like you did.
 
It didn't help
It works the same, ie with registry settings switched Tv application
generates error. Funny thing is it still works in background till I
press "OK to close application"
Is there any other way? I remember about making too small partition for
VOD files, but didn't try it yet

You could try Cat6.11.
If you only have an AIW you could use Cat.6.1 and MMC9.08 or 9.06.1 if
Guide+ is needed. Less problems. If you go back I'd recommend cleaning per
ati.com/install.
