okay I have an old computer that went dead on me about a 2 years ago,,I
wanted to just play around with it...it was a windows 98se..so all my stuff
is geared to that...I got a new hard drive..after I downloaded windows ,,I
had a black page that this file was not found...

vnetbios.vxd

now everything seems to be okay except I used to have a 800x600 now I
dont...
and my color resolution is only 16 bit?? I used to have 32 I believe..so my
on screen isnt what it should be....I havent tried to set up internet
yet...wanted everything else to work first....

should I load windows over again?? or is it on my motherboard ? I didnt
download anything with motherboard... cause I believe it did it when I
loaded the hard drive...

now when I got the new hard drive the guy at the store said it was the same
as I had..(I took the old one with me) only the gb's were different ..but
everything else was the same...
I have never done this before and I know this is a windows xp group...but I
thought maybe someone could give me advice...

Install display drivers. Apparently, Windows setup installed a very basic
driver instead of your usual.
