Is there a registry edit that can be edited to allow VNC (real, ultra ... )
without having users have to tell Defender this?

Kelli

That is the same problem I am having. I need a custom install version that
will allow me to ingore vnc all the time. I hope they come out with a
customizing business version.

I should have mentioned this to Kelli, too. Windows Defender's
functionality will be a part of several Microsoft products. One will be
Windows Vista, which will come with Windows Defender as a part of the OS.
Another is Windows Live OneCare, Microsoft's antivirus and
optimization/maintenance suite for home and very small business users. The
third is what is relevant for you--Microsoft Client Protection:

This will have every bell and whistle you could desire, in terms of remote
management, reporting, and control.
