I'm thinking of moving from VNC to Terminal Services to
handle server administration of our hosted servers. Are
there any known issues I should be aware of? Does anyone
know of any hacks or how often terminal services is patch
by Microsoft? Is it recommended?

Thanks
Caleb.

Thanks for the information, however, that supposedly has
been resolved with the latest service pack which we are
running on all 2000 servers. Which would you prefer VNC or
Terminal Services?

Thanks
Allen.

The bandwidth requirements are much lower on a terminal
servics connection as compared to VNC.

And you should always be careful with installing service
packs through terminal services...this still isn't
recommended by Microsoft to update your server. It is
always best to go to the console.

I would say Terminal Services, VNC is not stable,
sometimes it crashes, and there's no way of getting in,
as where TS you can use the web, or the Snapin.
