hi, i and a friend link up together so he can help me , we use the free
software called vnc 4.1 any way if u down load it , all u have to do is
configure a pass word for it , then who ever u are working with, give them
your ip address and turn fire wall off (u can set a exceptions so as u dont
need to turn fw off ) and they just type your pw and there u go, just type
free vnc download in google , it shows a good few programmes, all i can say
its a green page ,ok by ray0711

TightVNC and/or UltraVNC are better versions of it...
Don't turn *off* your firewall - that is *not smart*... Instead - just open
the port(s) needed for VNC to function.
Windows XP (All Flavors) has Remote Assistance - a more secure way to ask
for help.
Windows XP (Professional and all supersets) has Remote Desktop - a built in
way to remotely control the system.
