I need some step by step instructions please.
I am currently running Windows XP Pro Sp3 and I wish to install Vista
running inside VMWare.
Should VMWare be installed on my C: drive or can I run it on another
partition (I have a 'spare' partition of 97.6GB, completely empty except for
two folders, Recycler and System Volume Information)?
My current C: drive is 87.6GB, with 29.1GB free.
I have the VMWare program as an executable file and it would be easy to
install on the C: drive but how to install on the 'spare' partition - I:
drive if this is the best place to install Vista?
Then how do I install Vista (on whichever drive) having first installed
VMWare? Do I need to boot from the optical drive (as per a clean install of
XP) or install by another method?
A simple set of instructions would be much appreciated
