VLC player

I can see vlc.exe in the task manger but can't kill the process.

I've uninstalled VLC via the Control Panel yet vlc.exe is still there in the task manger.

How can I get rid of it?

I would use a software like process explorer to understand which software is actually using that process, this would then tell you what software you have to stop. It could be an agent that was installed along VLC

another workaround is to disable this process from starting on PC startup.
