Visual Studio .NET languages

Hey,
just wondering if visual studio is strictly geared towards Visual C#,
C++, Basic, etc. or whether u can easily code in just c#, c++, j#, etc.
Or, is there an alternative IDE that's not so monolithic.

Hi,

you can call from your code (for example c#) code written in unmanged code
(such as unmanaged c++ types) or types written in another .net language
(like VB.net). But you can'nt write one line C#, then one C++ and the next
VB.net.
