Hi,
(tried posting this in public.windows.vista.general, but got no answers)
This applies to a Windows Vista Ultimate RC1 system.
Just installed Visual Studio .NET 2003 and tried to apply the service pack.
It took forever and after a good amount of time I got "Error 1606: Could
not access network location VS Developers (could not create group)"
Has anyone else seen this? After lurking around the net I guess it means
that a control panel applet cannot be created? Furthermore I tried
installing creating a logfile, and that revieled that most or all content
was skipped due to language mismatch. And it wasn't just english it
wanted...
I tried ofcourse setting all language setting to default
english but didn't help...
