error playing blu-ray disk
After I insert the disc the play movie screen comes up and then the error
window pops up that says:
Microsoft visual c++ runtime library
buffer overrun detected
program:...es\acerarcadedeluxe\playmovie\playmovie.exe
A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the computers
internal state.
the program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.

It plays DVD's perfectly though

system is Acer Aspire AS7720-6395 Laptop
running Windows Vista Ultimate
with NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
Optical Drive: Double-layer DVDRW/Blu-ray Disc/CD-RW

could someone please HELP!!! i have run ever update i could find to solve
this but noting works. ran restore disk and and still will not play the
blu-ray disk. but regular dvd plays perfect.

thanks
Steve

That tends to indicate that PlayMovie.exe is using memory badly, and that
you might want to try the version of PowerDVD that supports B-R playback.
