Visual C++ error

I can open IE 6, but when I browse past the opening page,
I get "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library : Runtime
Error". The only option is to click OK, which closes the
browser. Any Ideas?

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite)

Download, install, update and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/
