Please could anyone give advice on visual basic .net on-line training,

i) have you found it useful?
ii) is the microsoft site the only place that offers this on-line trainin?

Thanks

Ben

Some good places to check out:

AppDev (www.appdev.com) has training courses you can buy, they send to you
on DVD. Good for single developer, not cheap.

Franklins.Net offers training either on site or via the net.

Wintellect offers on site training that is very good, I just got done taking
one of their classes.

The last two are more oriented toward having a group of developers, not just
one, but you didn't specifiy how many folks you were looking for training
for.

Hope this helps,

Robert

learnvisualstudio.net is very reasonably priced and offers full video
training.

I have used the begginers c# which is about 20 chapters and it was a
fair introduction. He doesn't assume too much either which is nice. As
with all training you'll need to read as broadly and deeply as you can.
But I do highly reccomend learnvisualstudio.net as a starting point.
(and one membership which can be as little as about $30 for a couple of
months i think) gets you access to ALL tutorials, that's c, basic, asp,
everything - it's quite good!
