Visual Basic .NET compiler &Hc0000005&

When compiling a VB.NET assembly we reguarly have the problem where it
either hangs or produces the following error:

Visual Basic .NET compiler is unable to recover from the following error:
System Error &Hc0000005& (Visual Basic internal compiler error)
Save your work and restart Visual Studio .NET.
----

On the same codebase it will sometimes work and sometimes not. Very Bizarre.

Notes:
1. Using VS.NET 2003
2. Seems a particular problem for assemblies which use NUnit!
