I have a user that keeps getting an error that the
Environ$ object cannot be found. Following that, she gets
an error stating that the registry cannot be accessed.
HELP.

Raymond, we do not have E.S.P. here.

- Is she using Visual Basic, or Microsoft Access? (This is actually an MS
Access group.)

- If MS Access, what version? (2, 95, 97, 2000, 2002, ...)

- What is she doing when the error occurs?

- Has it ever occurred before?

- Have you changed the program recently?

- Have you changed the PC recently?

Have you checked the references when running the database on her machine, as
several others have suggested?

HELP.
.
User is accessing a database from MS Access 2002 out of MS
Office XP Pro. User receives the error when accessing the
file. When she goes into the modules, and attempts from
there to look into "add-Ins", she gets the registry error.
Never does get the file open. User has several environment
settings unique to her group, and they are all fine. User
can access file with no issues from another machine. All
other users are haveing no issues with file. Other users
trying to access file from her machine experience the same
issues.

Removed Access and re-installed with no results. Removed
Access, deleted registry entries, and re-installed. No
help. Removed entire installation of MS Office and re-
installed. No help.

HELP!

The error states "Cannot find registry"..... That's all.
It doesn't even give a registry entry that it's looking
for, or a name/location of the registry entry.
