I don't think "OS X" is a Vista 'wannabee'.
OSX has really matured into a product that stands on its own 'two feet'.

Apple today released specifics on a new edible form-factor Mac, humorously
called the "Mac'n on an Apple" series. Apple's press release confirmed that
the the new form factor is "sweeter and yummier" than analysts previously
predicted, causing Apple's share price to rise 4%. Rumors are also spreading
on many underground Apple enthusiast websites that "caramel" and "fried
ice-cream" flavored Mac'n series will follow in two to three months. Apple
could not be contacted to confirm this claim before this story's deadline.
