While using VISTAS DVD buring software i created a disc using the 1st option.
there are 2 options. The 1st creates a DVD thats more like a flash disk.
the second makes a normal DVD.

the 1st option says DVD wont be readable in systems with os before XP.

i made a disc with the 1st option and I have tried to get the disc to read
in 3 other XP-pro PCs but wont show up.

any ideas?

In case you don't have your answer, I have made it readable in XP systems
using the Live File System in Vista by right-clicking the drive and
formatting. Presumably that will take some extra space on the disc. Hope
that helps...

I want to apologize; what I meant to say was right-click and choose close
session. You also might want to confirm you are using Live File System
version 2.01 as Vista's help file says:

"This format is compatible with Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. It might
not compatible with Windows 98, Windows 2000, or Apple computers."
