There have been numerous continuing issues reported with NVIDIA's Vista
drivers (look on NVIDIA's forums). Have you tried going back to the drivers
that came on the Vista DVD? Also, did you install any drivers obtained
through Windows Update? If so, remove them and download direct from NVIDIA.

Hi PvdG42,

I've installed the newest drivers from the NVIDIA website. Could it be the
Nforce 4 drivers?

I've been having similar problems since I downloaded the "important" update
from Windows, it will intermittently shut the computer down and then restart.
I'll try what you suggested. Any one else had these problems?

Yep ever since the important update. Games will run for about 5 mins and then
start ramdomly frezing. then (sometimes) start working again.

Other times they just thrown me back to the desktop saying the "driver has
stopped working but restarted" or words to that effect.

This started before I updated the drivers. with the new drivers it is
actually worse with it happening more frequently.
