Vista x64 5600 Installed!

Well, I am now on Vista x64 Build 5600 RC1! Everything is good so far,
Office 2007 BETA 2 also installed. Installation time, 46 mins, which seems
fair, especially for my hardware.

AMD Sempron 64-bit (1.6 GHz)
512 MBs of RAM
Geforce FX 5200 128 MB AGP
 
Did you experience any long pauses where the machine appearedto be doing
nothing, and then continued later?.
 
Nope, in fact, I have never experienced that in any of past builds. The most
likely cause could be external devices attached to the PC that Vista is
trying detect and install, such as Fax/Printers and Scanners.

I had a pause when it was copying files - only a minute or two where there
seemed no activity. Same also for when it was expanding files (after the
first restart). My install only took 25 minutes though :-)
 
Ok, thanks Andre.
I did have a HP printer/scanner/copier attached so it could have been that,
because the pc is not under-rated hence speed/memory are not really issues.
