My laptop was working fine. Then I install Lifecam vx3000. It worked fine.
I shut off my computer for the night, and in the morning, it wouldn't
restart. I got a black screen with a yellow bar down the right side. Turned
off comp and turned it back on and got a screen asking me to do start up
repair, so I did. Ten minutes later, it tells me it can not fixed the
problem that was caused by a device driver. So I restart again and this time
choose "start windows normally." After a couple of tries, it finally
started. I completely uninstalled the Lifecam and thought I'd be okay, but
now it still won't restart. I have to turn it off and on 3 or 4 times before
it will just randomly work. I'm afraid one of these times it isn't going to
start. Anyone have any ideas what's going on here and how I can fix it?
Thanks a bunch as I'm really starting to get nervous.

System Restore was made for this type of issue.

caealday,

Restore your computer to a point in time prior to the installation of
the Lifecam. You did make a restore point before you installed the software,
didn't you?
