vista windows services

where can i find information about what each service is, what it does, its
dependencies, basically, i want my xp services.msc back :(

and as a side note, why is the services window in the management panel not
resizable?

What build are you using? All of that information is accessible in RC1.

thanks for the quick reply Paul. im using the most recent rc1 [LR1CFRE_EN_DVD]

no doubt you are correct and the information is readily available to me, but
the greatest challenge i have had with all the vistas is locating pertinant
information in a timely manner. it has been a great source of irritation that
finding the information that i need is more difficult that the task i set out
for myself.
