Vista windows email

I tried sending an email to multiple people with 6 pictures on it. I
then forgot to see if it was done sending before shutting computer
down. I did this twice. Now the email is stuck in the outbox along
with another one I wrote afterwards. Selecting send/receive button,
send all outgoing or trying to delete the outgoing mail does no good.
When I click on the email it says in bottom pane "unable to see email-
program shut down incorrectly" And it also wont let me delete other
one either. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It works for all folders, not just the Outbox.
