Hi Danny,
I just tried it and yes, it appears you can (75° and partly cloudy there,
nice). Just click the wrench and type Israel into the search box, you will
get two results.

You can have several weather gadgets running at the same time with different
locations for each if you like. Just enter Israel in the search box of the
options dialog for the weather gadget, then click the search icon to bring
up some Israel related cities that you can select from.
You have to be connected to the Internet for this to work.

I use two on my sidebar: one for Teuge (people from the netherlands will
tell you it is a very small town, but it has a small airfield and thus a
weather station) and Zwolle also a town in the Neherlands. You should try to
find a location near you that has its own weatherstation.

maybe firewall settings? is your gadget allowed to go out to the internet?

i turn off the firewall and still got the same message "service not available
in your language or region"

It would be nice; if you had the abilty to have more than one location;in
the same gadget;not have to open multiple ones.
